The Twice Is Nice thrift shop opened in 1990
and offers quality, previously owned items at affordable
prices to the Loudoun community. Since it began, the Twice
Is Nice has raised over $250,000 for The Ladies Board general
fund.
Smart shoppers may find Ralph Lauren, Dana
Buchman, DNKY, Castleberry and other prestigious brands
at bargain prices. The store carries clothing and accessories
for all members of the household. Many shoppers come for
the furniture, kitchen items, linens, books, small appliances
and collectibles. Volunteers stock the floor daily with
"new" merchandise so each day is a different shopping
experience.
Items are typically priced at 25% or less
of the
original retail price, and often store sales or
clearance activities reduce these prices even further.
Frequent shopper cards are another way to buy more
for less!
The store is located in Leesburg in the Tollhouse
Shopping Center. The hours are Monday through and including
Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. All workers are volunteers
and all items sold are donated.
Donations are accepted Tuesdays, Thursdays
and Saturdays during regular business hours. Donations may
be made on other days by appointment only. Tax receipts
are available; however, the donor determines the value of
items donated.
